Design Case Study: Honeysuckle Life
Client:
About:
Honeysuckle Life is a lifestyle blog for women focused on travel, food, interior design, decor, and gardening.
Problem:
Have you heard the saying, “the cobbler’s children have no shoes”? For this project, we are the cobbler and Honeysuckle Life is the child. The creative outlet of Rebekah, one half of Burder Creative, the blog didn’t have a logo or website design that reflected the brand. We also were in dire need of cohesive design across social media, and better content.
Solution:
Together, we created a branding board that reflected a more modern look for Honeysuckle Life. We started with a logo re-design that removed a dated element (a teacup) and stripped it down to a simple font in dark denim blue.
Services Provided:
Logo Design, Business Card Design and Printing, Custom WordPress Blog Template, Theme Setup and Installation, Writing, Photography, and Social Media Management

New Branding
To use in various applications, we added icons that represented the quirkiness of the brand.
From there, we moved on to the website design. Our goal was to keep it simple, letting the photography and writing take center stage.
We also developed a custom Pinterest plugin for the website that included a hover activated custom “Pin” button on images.
